I'm Waiting for the Summer of Love 21st Century Style

If you had bet me a year ago that I would be plugging a new song by the artist Pink, I'd have taken that bet and laughed and laughed...

She has a new song, Dear Mr. President. Give it a listen.

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye
How do you walk with your head held high
Can you even look me in the eye
Then there's Neil Young's new album about impeaching the president and such. Are we turning the corner on the willful ignorance of the American people? I mean, Neil Young and his fogey rock isn't going to influence any of the youth vote. But Pink might.

In the world of ClearChannel and money grubbing agents and record producers, it's nice to hear some real protest music again. Peace, man!

Dude, Hillary Duff sings some pretty rightous lyrics too. Give her a listen...

Of all the teeny white-girl singers from the last 10 years or so, Pink is the best. Which is a little like saying Moe is the smartest Stooge, but whatever. By the way, Mike LOVES Kelly Clarkson.

No. I love Avril Lavigne. I only told you that Kelly Clarkson is better than you think, assclown. And I'm right. Back me up, Minority Whip. I know you're out there.

And I have no interest one way or the other on Pink other than I was impressed with a teeny-bopper singer writing scathing lyrics about the president.

I am almost ashamed to admit it it (not really), but I have two Kelly Clarkson songs and one Avril Lavigne song in my iTunes. Also, I heard emeryroolz likes O Town.

If I knew what O Town was I bet I would be offended by that...

Nice try. Nobody's buying it.

He also has a subscription to Tiger Beat.

You're pretty cocky for someone who loves Kelly Clarkson. Loves.

I just found out who O Town is. I, unlike John Kerry, will not allow myself to be swift-boated this way! I hearby rebut your scurrilous allegations!
