The Morons at Fox

And for once, I’m not talking about the “news” channel. They’ve cancelled Arrested Development. How long will the Pamela Anderson show run, I wonder?

Between this and Firefly, they’ve cancelled the two best shows on network television not called Lost in the last five years. I hate you, Fox!!

Thank you for noting this sad event for television comedy. I just don't get it either...

Frankly, I never got hooked on "Arrested Development" nor "House" - the two Fox shows that seem to have people buzzing. Call me a sucker for tradition, but for me, it ain't Fox if it doesn't have scantily clad 20- and 30-somethings posing as teenagers. God bless the OC...

The OC can suck it.

Thanks, Matt. Thanks for not watching my favorite show and getting it cancelled. Why don't you go vote Republican while you're at it...

And The OC? I thought Matthew was a boy's name.

It's just that Ryan -- he's such a badass fish-out-of-water, he just gets my vagina all tingly.

There are a couple of rays of hope for you (and let's be clear, I have not read the industry trades; I am speculating without a shread of proof): 1) Fox did bring back "Family Guy", which had struggled ratings-wise but was a goldmine in syndication. Maybe if AD gets picked up in syndication it can find an audience whose write-in campaigns and blog rants are actually deemed important by the network; and 2) Ron Howard, so I'm told, is actually something of a powerful man in Hollywood. I'm sure he knows a guy or two that could help him move AD to another network...right?
